FundraiserFive Points YouthMusic Programs
“Amen Sundays” is more than a party — it's a rhythmic homecoming. Born from the soul of the 1960s and the foundation of global breakbeat culture, we gather in the heart of Denver's historic Five Points to celebrate the sounds that defined generations.
From the “Harlem of the West” jazz era to the modern frontier of Jungle, Drum & Bass, and Hip-Hop — we are honoring the lineage of the break.
Why Five Points?Five Points isn't just a location — it's the soul of Denver's diverse musical history. By hosting here, we ensure that as the neighborhood evolves, its musical heartbeat only gets louder.
The history of the “Amen Break” is one of immense cultural impact but stolen legacy. At Amen Sundays, we believe the future of music belongs to the kids currently finding their voice in our neighborhood.
100% of proceeds go directly to local Five Points youth music programs — funding instruments, production mentorship, and rehearsal space for the next generation of Denver artists.
By dancing with us, you are directly funding the equipment and education needed for a kid in Five Points to create the next world-changing breakbeat.
